Liquid Transfer Pump | DuraCirc

The hygienic pump that keeps your processes running. The Alfa Laval DuraCirc circumferential piston pump is the perfect choice for demanding hygienic applications. It is durable, reliable, efficient, and hygienic, with a wide range of flow and pressure capabilities. The DuraCirc is also easy to clean and maintain, thanks to its innovative design features.

Stainless steel Pump

Twin-wing piston rotors made of a special non-galling alloy are standard. All other steel components that come into contact with the media, such as the rotor case, front cover, and rotor nuts, are made of AISI 316L stainless steel. With its all-stainless steel exterior, including the gear case and feet, the DuraCirc pump has exceptional corrosion resistance.

Gearbox

The gearbox is standard designed with duplex shafts and a robust, long-life bearing arrangement. This provides a very rigid shaft assembly design, essential for the high volumetric efficiency achieved.

Seals & Elastomer

With profiled compression elastomers and an optimized shaft seal location, the DuraCirc is designed to meet the most stringent hygienic design standards and has verified and effective CIP cleanability. The pump features a front-loading single mechanical seal, which allows for quick and easy inspection or replacement without disassembling pipework. Single flushed and double mechanical shaft seals, as well as O-ring seals, are available as options.

High volumetric efficiency performance

Allows for optimized pump selection, reducing capital costs while improving process yield. Certified to both EHEDG and 3A, reducing process cross-contamination risk and CIP cycle time, maintaining process yield, and cutting cleaning costs. 

Truly front-loading single seal

Full component interchangeability without complicated maintenance procedures, long-life bearing operation, and one single long-life lubricant make service faster and easier, increasing process uptime.

Robust, durable design via a strong gearcase

Incorporating increased-diameter shafts and optimally positioned heavy-duty bearings minimizes the risk of pump head contact, reducing service requirements and maintaining process continuity.
The DuraCirc Uni-Fit port option allows for easy direct replacement of both Alfa Laval SCPP range and other major brands into existing process systems without changing pipework.

The DuraCirc liquid transfer pump range has 13 pump head displacements ranging from 0.03 litres/rev to 4.14 litres/rev.
