The GD Series of truck mounted rotary vane compressors are lightweight, compact and designed for the oil free discharge of bulk liquids from general purpose tankers, e.g. liquid food stuff, solvents, acids, alkalis, hot bitumen, resins and other chemicals.
Compressors are the fastest method of discharging low viscosity liquids and with no component compatibility issues, they are also the most adaptable for the majority of liquids carried on a road tanker.
Our compressors have been designed to fit into the latest 4x2 and 6x2 tractor units. Where space economy for mounting discharge equipment is at a premium, the small footprint and lightweight build of the GD150 & GD175 compressors allow your fleet to maximise your payload opportunities.
The GD range is supplied with mounting feet, and air inlet kit with flexible hose and mounting bracket for compressor inlet filter, reducing your installation time. Furthermore, the compact size and shape of the compressor make it ideal for simple mounting inside the chassis on most vehicles to enable low cost direct PTO driving. The through shaft also allows clockwise or anticlockwise input drive rotation and the compressor can be installed in 3 orientations to provide the maximum mounting flexibility.
Our rotary vane design, with 30 years of proven reliability, offers lower maintenance time and cost, ensuring that your trucks stay out on the road for as long as possible. The machine is an oil free sliding vane design supported by bearing arrangements at both ends of the rotor. All of our components used in the main bore cavity are hard anodised aluminium or stainless steel to maximise the resistance to atmospheric corrosion.
The standard option for most road tanker pressure discharges, the GD150 is adaptable for discharges that require a lower volume of air, such as IBC pressure discharge.
