There are many benefits to using our Hydrapak hydraulic oil cooler when compared to a traditional high volume oil tank. These benefits include a reduced installation footprint which results in a space saving, lower net weight resulting in higher payloads for your operation along with increased energy efficiency – all of which lead to reducing your running costs.
The HK3 Hydrapak is available in 200 or 300 Bar models and with 100 or 140 litre per minute flow fitting kits.
Space Saving
The small footprint of the Hydrapak HK3 allows flexible installation opportunities in a number of positions on a vehicle. The units are also considerably smaller than traditional 200-300 litre oil tanks meaning hydraulically driven equipment can be mounted virtually anywhere on a chassis.
Increased Payload
With a low weight of 17kg (without oil), the Hydrapak HK3 can provide significant payload increases for your operation. The unit even when filled with 11 litres of oil, is significantly lighter than the traditional oil tank it replaces which may contain anywhere between 150-300 litres of hydraulic oil.
Lowers Running Costs
The light and small Hydrapak HK3 lowers your running costs by reducing your fuel consumption and lowering maintenance costs. When it comes to the annual oil change within the hydraulic oil change, you would only need to replace 11 litres instead of 150-300 litres which itself provides a huge cost saving and gets you back on the road faster.
Variable Performance
We offer two models for the Hydrapak HK3, a 200 Bar maximum pressure version and a 300 Bar maximum operating pressure version. Both units are fitted with a Pressure Safety Relief Valve to protect both the Hydrapak and the hydraulic system from any over pressuring. Also available are 100 l/min and 140 l/min maximum operating oil flow fittings kits meaning the HK3 can be customised to suit all of your requirements.
Hydrapak Applications
The Hydrapak HK3 can be used on a wide range of application and installation types including hydraulic driven compressors, blowers, vacuum pumps and exhausters. They are also widely used on specialist product pumps including LPG, Cryogenic, Aviation and Petroleum Pumps on conjunction with Pet Reg chassis conversions. The Hydrapak HK3 can also be used on Walking Floor trailer applications where typical performance required is 225 Bar and 110 l/min, ideal for our hydraulic oil cooler.
